I am a freelance travel writer and a contributing editor at The New York Times, focusing on social media strategy and project management, who recently moved from NYC to London. Previously, I spent more than 10 years as a leading digital editor and strategist at The Times, where I developed a strong editorial background in writing, editing, video production and audience development.

Justin is an gifted, creative digital storyteller. He has original ideas and has the technical facility to fashion a story in an accessible way. He’s also a great collaborator and communicator.
Justin and I worked together at The New York Times while he was on the Sports Desk during a time of profound digital change. Throughout it all, Justin was the kind of journalist and digital thinker who was willing to take on any project, large or small, and was careful to ensure all the details were right before publication. A calm and easygoing presence, even on a busy news desk, Justin is a patient coach who helps others learn new skills, while always staying one step ahead of the next big idea.
Justin made a tremendous contribution to our audience development efforts. He quickly immersed himself in Quanta’s multiple content types and social media accounts (not to mention our newly redesigned site), and crafted a high velocity, effective campaign to grow our reach across the major platforms. Justin is a skillful, experienced digital journalist who can do it all.
