I have recently made the transition to freelancer writing and social media consulting after more than 10 years as a leading digital editor and strategist at The New York Times, where I developed a strong editorial background writing, editing, video production and audience development.

My recent writing has mainly focused on travel, but I have a wide-range of interests and knowledge of several subjects, including sports, technology and arts & entertainment. I’ve also had success over the past year as a social media consultant and am still a contributing writer and social media editor for The Times’s travel desk.
